Why a verdict beats a forecast
A normal weather app gives you numbers and leaves the decision to you. But "18°C, 40% rain, wind 25 km/h" means completely different things depending on what you're doing. That drizzle risk barely matters for a walk — it's the whole decision for a drone pilot. A 45 km/h gust is a pleasant breeze to a hiker and a grounded aircraft to someone flying a Mavic.
GoNoGo Weather starts from the activity, not the weather. Each tool knows the thresholds that make or break that activity — the wind limit of a consumer drone, the temperature at which riding gets genuinely unpleasant, the rain that turns a fun ride into a dangerous one — and turns the hour-by-hour forecast into a single, honest answer: go, wait, or don't.

We pull the live hourly forecast for the next seven days from Open-Meteo, run it through the scoring model for your chosen activity, and show you three things: whether right now is a GO, the next good window if it isn't, and a colour-coded hour-by-hour and 7-day outlook so you can plan ahead. Yes, completely free with no account required. The site is supported by advertising and by affiliate links to relevant gear.
Where does the weather data come from?
Live forecasts come from Open-Meteo, which aggregates national weather models (ECMWF, NOAA, DWD, Météo-France and others). Forecasts are updated regularly throughout the day.
How accurate is the verdict?
The verdict is only as good as the underlying forecast, and it's guidance — not a guarantee. It's designed to save you time and flag clear no-go conditions, but you always make the final call based on what you see on the ground. See our methodology and terms.
Do you store my location?
